Sorry, falling behind on posting again. I have been running around lately trying to get all of our Christmas shopping done. Scheduling holidays with two families and so many others also trying to schedule with two families gets complicated. We tried to figure out a way to have the Nguyen Thanksgiving on Thursday, but it just worked out better for everyone to get together Wednesday night. We all brought something over to my brother's house and stuffed ourselves. The guys played some blackjack, my sister, Kim, taught some Japanese card game, and my uncle passed out on a boppy. My cousins brought over some gifts for Taylor since her birthday was also that weekend. I think the kids had just as much fun playing in a box the toys came in. Lots of fun, lots of food, and lots of leftovers.
Originally, Ryan's family was going to go camping for Thanksgiving. They were going to head out to Lake Somerville on Wednesday night, and then we'd join them on Thursday. Since it was going to be so cold, we had a change of plans. We each brought something over to his parents' house and had thanksgiving there. Ryan and I had bought all sorts of stuff to go camping, so we brought it to his parents' house anyways. Ryan set up the tent in the family room, and we spent the night at their house. More food, more fun, more games, and lots of candy crushing.
More family fun time ahead. Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving.
